At Whisper Productions we have a passion

for ending social injustices all over the world.

We’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible organizations around the world and are always looking for different ways to help support these organizations.

So we have decided to give away FREE TOMS SHOES in order to help raise awareness for GIVE US NAMES, our friends who are fighting to end displacement in Colombia. We love TOMS SHOES and GIVE US NAMES so why not support both at the same time.

So you can win FREE TOMS and help FREE COLOMBIA of the problem of people being internally displaced.

GIVE US NAMES is doing some incredible work to make the stories known of those who have lost their land in Colombia. They plan to create a series of short films that highlight one person’s situation and the reasons of their displacement. Their goal is to tell their stories in such a way that those who hear them will not rest until displacement ends, justice is brought to the perpetrators, and the rights of the displaced are recognized and protected. Watch this video about GIVE US NAMES and their mission.

Whisper Productions will be giving away a pair of the TOMS of your choice to one lucky person, each Saturday for the next 2 weeks. All you have to do is first follow @whisperpro and then at some point before 11:59PM on Saturday, May 29th and Saturday, June 5th, post this tweet.

Grace – The Prodigal Son

Whisper Productions has been given the great opportunity to create a short film that retells the story from the bible of the prodigal son in a modern setting. We are really excited about this project, one just because it is such an amazing story to get to recreate. This film will also be distributed by Zondervan. We will be shooting June 14th-18th so be looking for plenty of behind the scenes and more info soon. Also, we don’t really have anymore budget for crew, but if anyone would like to come hang out and be a part of this shoot, please email me and let me know. We would love to have some extra help. Thanks! -Josh

The Failure of Robin Hood.

I just got home from seeing the newest “Robin Hood” starring Russell Crowe and I was completely disappointed. It was 2 hrs and 20 mins that felt like 4 hrs 20 mins.

The number one problem I had with the film was… even though it was so long, they still failed to follow one of the key rules of telling a good story, that is to develop characters that the viewer can care about. Give the viewer reason to root for the characters or reason to hate them. I guess they just relied on the fact that everyone should have seen the other Robin Hood’s and should care about them from those films.

In my opinion it was a complete waste of $237 Million dollars. The only value to this film was the fight scenes which weren’t anything we haven’t seen before but still saved the film.

I would much rather watch this Robin Hood because you cared so much more for the characters and it created some pretty memorable scenes and places. All my life I wanted to live in a tree house like theirs.
